What is MESA?

We empower students by providing them with a community that supports their pathways to higher education in STEM, through mentorships, academic programs, and interactive workshops.

YVC’s MESA Program

YVC is one of 12 colleges in Washington MESA Transfer Prep Program. Our goal is to increase the number of community college students who successfully transfer to four-year institutions and earn bachelor’s degrees in STEM majors. ​​With that goal in mind, YVC’s MESA program is designed to assist students in achieving their academic goals through educational support services and professional development experiences.
