Campus Safety & Security
Our goal is to maintain a safe and secure environment on our campus for students, staff, faculty and visitors. We ask that you assist us by being aware of your surroundings and reporting anything suspicious. The sooner we’re notified, the sooner we can respond.
To enhance campus environment by working in partnership with the campus to promote public safety and crime prevention through education and enforcement; to maintain the campus order while preserving the legal rights of all individuals; to reduce the impact of crime, and to provide effective, efficient and professional service.

Annual Security & Fire Report
YVC’s Annual Security Report provides easy access to the college’s crime prevention, safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that support a safe campus experience.
College Crime Statistics
YVC Campus Security collects reportable crime statistics in accordance with the 1990 Jeanne Clery Act using data from a variety of on- and off-campus sources.
Report Sexual Harrassment
Employees, applicants, students, and visitors may report illegal discrimination at YVC verbally or in writing. Timely reporting is encouraged.
