Personal Counseling

Our YVC Counselors are trained professionals who can help you with personal issues affecting your well-being and success. They will assist you in identifying your existing resources, viewing problems from new perspectives, and developing the skills and understanding needed to find your own solutions.

Short-term counseling is ideal for addressing specific concerns in a few sessions over the quarter. If you wish to continue counseling beyond this, or if our counseling center cannot provide the type of service you need, we will refer you to an appropriate outside agency. Please note that the YVC Counseling Center does not offer long-term psychotherapy.

If you are experiencing a crisis call 911 or the Local Crisis Line at 509.575.4200.
