Disbursements (Refunds)
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ delivers your refund with , a technology solution, powered by .This allows students to receive funds using secure and efficient delivery options. The for refund management is available for review.
Make sure your information with YVC is correct before your financial aid is processed, as this information is shared with BankMobile.
Important:
- Your mobile phone number (must be able to receive text messages)
- Your mailing address
- Your email address
BankMobile uses your mobile phone number to verify your identity.
If your phone number is missing or does not match what YVC provided:
- You may need to update it directly with BankMobile
- Additional identity verification may be required
- This may delay your refund.
1. After you are eligible for financial aid and your file is complete, you will receive your award notification (offer letter). At that time, we send your contact information and refund amount to BankMobile
2. BankMobile will contact you (usually within a few days) with instructions to set up your account

- You will be asked to provide or confirm your mobile phone number
- A one-time passcode (OTP) will be sent to your phone to continue setup
3. Once your account is set up, follow the instructions to choose how you want to receive your refund
Note: If you have not received your financial aid offer letter yet, your refund process has not started. to make sure your file is complete.
- If you do not complete the setup process, your refund may be issued as a paper check
- Paper checks may also be used if identity verification cannot be completed
- If you need to update your phone number or cannot verify your identity, BankMobile may require you to upload a valid ID
- Log in to the Student Portal
- Click on My Personal Information
- Verify or update your mailing address, email, and phone number
- You may also need to verify your identity with BankMobile
