Applications are now open for 鶹Ƶ’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management (BASM) program for the 2026-27 academic year. The deadline to is May 31, 2026. The program is designed for individuals who have earned an applied associate degree and need a pathway to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
YVC’s BASM program combines lower-division technical and transfer courses with upper-division credits in business management resulting in a four-year degree that combines hands-on application of management practices and an understanding of management theory.
The program is designed to be convenient for individuals working a day schedule, as each class meets in the evening one time per week for two hours. Additional instruction and student interaction takes place online. Full-time students, those taking 15 credits per quarter, can finish the program in two years once prerequisites have been met. This program begins each fall.
Josue Gutierrez, a graduate of the BASM program, feels the cohort model was key to his success.
“Being part of a cohort has helped me build meaningful relationships with classmates and instructors to expand my professional network as a businessperson,” said Gutierrez, who now works as a logistics supervisor.
