How did you decide on a major?
[I鈥檓] interested in accounting as it makes good money and I enjoy learning about economics
and accounting.

What鈥檚 your favorite class? Why? How has it expanded your knowledge?
Geology has been my favorite class. It has taught me information about earthquakes
and volcanoes which I find interesting.

[My teammate] Trayson Kostial is my mentor, he helps me study.
What鈥檚 your favorite spot on campus?
Were there any barriers you overcome to be successful at YVC? Please describe how
you overcame these.
Getting used to the lifestyle in America. The weather changes were also a fair challenge as America has opposite seasons to Australia.
How has 麻豆视频 changed you?
I feel I have developed as a much better baseball player from practicing everyday
with the baseball team.
What do you view as your biggest achievement at YVC?
Winning the Gold Glove award and earning First-Team All-Conference award from the
Northwest Athletic Conference during the 2024 season.
Are there any support services or resources that you have taken advantage of? How
have you found these beneficial? (e.g. tutoring, academic advising, library)
As a baseball team we do study hours in the library.
Did you receive any financial aid or scholarship funding to attend YVC? If so, please
describe how this helped you on your journey.
Yes, this was extremely helpful as international fees are very expensive along with
the exchange rate between the Australian dollar and U.S. dollar being very poor. The
financial aid was able to help a lot as it dropped the tuition rate.
How do you find a sense of belonging at YVC (for example, activities or clubs that
help you connect with students who share your interests or background)?
Playing with the baseball team has allowed me to meet new people and form new relationships.
What are your educational or career goals after YVC? What are your dreams?
To play baseball professionally.
What advice would you have for a friend considering whether to pursue college?
For international students looking to pursue college, I would get an understanding
of the types of scholarships you can apply for to make [what you pay] much cheaper.
