鶹Ƶ is currently accepting applications for the Veterinary Technology program for its next cohort starting in the 2026-27 academic year. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2026.

YVC’s Veterinary Technology program is a two-year course of study leading to an associate of applied science degree. Students gain hands-on experience working with a variety of animals as part of their coursework. Graduates of YVC’s program have the credentials and knowledge needed for successful completion of the national and state board examinations leading to licensing as a veterinary technician. Licensed veterinary technicians are employed in a variety of situations including private veterinary practices, universities, veterinary schools, zoos and more.

Alumni like Gabriela Magallon emphasize the benefits of YVC’s hands-on program.

“The patients and pets we worked with at the Humane Society gave us meaningful, real-world experience with live patients for us to learn from,” said Magallon.
