About Jason
I teach philosophy with the belief that philosophical thinking is not just an academic exercise, but a vital part of everyday life. In my classes, I invite students to see philosophy as a living practice—one that helps us question assumptions, clarify our values, and think more deeply about the world around us. Whether we’re exploring questions about morality, freedom, or knowledge, I encourage students to view philosophy as a tool for living more reflective and intentional lives.
My teaching style is highly interactive and discussion-based. I want students to engage with each other’s ideas, challenge arguments respectfully, and connect abstract concepts to real-world situations. Rather than simply memorizing theories, students in my classes learn to think critically, reason clearly, and communicate thoughtfully—skills that serve them well not only in philosophy but in any path they pursue.
