About Guadalupe
Born and raised in the Yakima and Kittitas Valleys, Guadalupe Huitron (she/her/ella) is the daughter of immigrant farm workers. After completing her graduate studies, she served as a country manager for an international nonprofit organization abroad before returning to the Valley.
As a public health and social work practitioner, Guadalupe is passionate about exploring and addressing the intersections of public health outcomes and social issues. She currently serves as a Faculty Counselor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, where she specializes in supporting students with disabilities and those experiencing housing insecurity.
Guadalupe welcomes all students to stop by her office to chat—whether you're looking for support, resources, or just someone to listen.
