About Elizabeth
I grew up in Yakima, WA and attended Barge-Lincoln Elementary, Washington Middle School and A.C. Davis High School. I have worked with diverse groups of people for 26 years, 10 years in community mental health, and as a faculty counselor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ for 16 years.
As a detribalized, neurodivergent, Queer Latinx woman, I have a passion for supporting students by working for equity and social change using an antiracist lens, and a culturally responsive approach. I get a lot of joy out of helping our students connect to the resources and steps needed to meet their educational and personal goals. Our students' stories, creativity, and the communities they create inspire me.
