About Dr. Tulloss
Elise is originally from Yakima. She has a degree in Ecology from UC Davis, where she studied the impacts of atmospheric nitrogen pollution on plant communities. She returned to Yakima in 2015 and taught high school science at La Salle High School for ten years, while occasionally teaching part-time at YVC. She started full time at YVC in Fall 2025. She enjoys helping students reach their goals and learn to appreciate Biology. In her spare time, she likes hiking with her family and looking at plants.
