About Anna
I started my position as mathematics faculty here at YVC in Fall 2016. I am thankful to always be learning something new from my students and colleagues. I enjoy living in and serving a diverse community.
I strive to create a learning environment for my students where they feel like they matter and are supported by their classmates and me. It is my hope that my students feel comfortable approaching me if they need help, whether it is help with the content of the class or some other problem. I provide lecture note packets as a guide for the work done together in class. Homework is mostly done online, and some written assignments are assigned as needed.
I love camping, hiking, birding, cross country skiing, paddle boarding, reading, attending concerts and sporting events, and traveling.
