Today is YVC Giving Day!
Learn how you can make an impact in the lives of YVC students by giving to the areas that matter most to you. Share your YVC story on social media using #YaksGive and encourage fellow Yaks to join in and support the day!
Giving Day Challenges
Provides one-time grants of up to $500 to YVC students facing unexpected financial crises that threaten their ability to stay in school.
Matching Challenge: Dollar-for-dollar up to $14,000
Progress: $35,423 (including $14,000 match)
Supports student participation in community-based summer research through stipends
or academic credit, helping students gain hands-on experience while continuing their
education.
Match: Dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500
Progress: $50 donated
Provides scholarships to students who have completed a CCR program and are beginning college-level coursework. CCR programs help students finish high school, learn English and build foundational academic skills that empower them to build better lives.
Matching Challenge: Dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500
Progress: $334 donated
Support student-athletes with financial need, helping YVC recruit and retain talent from across Washington and beyond.
Giving Challenge:
- $1,500 to the team with the most individual donations
- $1,000 to the team with the second most individual donations
- $500 to the team with the third most individual donations
Bolster student-led activities that enrich campus life, reflect diverse interests and promote community service. YVC clubs include agribusiness, astronomy, billiards, business, climbing, computer science/IT, drama, music, PRIDE, wellness, veterinary technology and more.
Giving Challenge:
- $1,500 to the club with the most individual donations
- $1,000 to the club with the second most individual donations
- $500 to the club with the third most individual donations

Support YVC’s Department of Visual Arts by purchasing student art. Proceeds from this event, taking place in conjunction with Giving Day, will bolster opportunities for YVC students to make art.

Grape to Glass Gala

Kaminski Conference Center (Yakima Campus)
Reserve your seat or table at YVC’s annual Grape to Glass Gala benefiting Vineyard & Winery Technology student scholarships. Extend your impact by making an additional donation toward Vineyard & Winery Technology student scholarships on top of your seat/table purchase.
