#YaksGive #YVCGivingDay2026

We invite you to make a difference for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students who are pursuing their dreams during our 2026 Yaks Give campaign. Help support students facing financial emergencies as well as activities that enrich their learning and personal growth. Several matching challenges are also available thanks to the generosity of the YVC Foundation, allowing you to extend the impact of your gift! Mark your calendar for April 22, our inaugural YVC Giving Day, and join us in supporting YVC students!


Giving Day Challenges

Provides one-time grants of up to $500 to YVC students facing unexpected financial crises that threaten their ability to stay in school.  

Matching Challenge: Dollar-for-dollar up to $14,000 

Supports student participation in community-based summer research through stipends or academic credit, helping students gain hands-on experience while continuing their education. 
 
Match: Dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500

Provides scholarships to students who have completed a CCR program and are beginning college-level coursework. CCR programs help students finish high school, learn English and build foundational academic skills that empower them to build better lives. 

Matching Challenge: Dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500

Support student-athletes with financial need, helping YVC recruit and retain talent from across Washington and beyond. 

Giving Challenge: 

  • $1,500 to the team with the most individual donations 
  • $1,000 to the team with the second most individual donations 
  • $500 to the team with the third most individual donations 

Bolster student-led activities that enrich campus life, reflect diverse interests and promote community service. YVC clubs include agribusiness, astronomy, billiards, business, climbing, computer science/IT, drama, music, PRIDE, wellness, veterinary technology and more. 

Giving Challenge: 

  • $1,500 to the club with the most individual donations
  • $1,000 to the club with the second most individual donations
  • $500 to the club with the third most individual donations
