2027 Winter Quarter Important Dates

Feb 8 Spring Quarter 2027 class schedule available in ctcLink.
Feb 8 Spring Quarter advance registration times available in ctcLink for currently enrolled students.
Feb 9 Summer 2027 graduation application deadline.
Feb 8 Currently enrolled degree/certificate seeking VA students eligible to register.
Feb 9 Advising Day Spring 2027 for currently enrolled students. No day classes. Evening classes that begin after 6:30 p.m. are held at regular times. All Bachelor classes follow regular schedule.
Feb 9 – Feb 19 Advance Spring Quarter registration begins for currently enrolled degree/certificate seeking students.
Feb 15 President’s Day – College Closed.
Feb 22 Returning and transfer student (30+ college credits) Spring Quarter 2027 registration begins.
Feb 17 Deadline: All transcripts, college and high school, must be received for Spring Quarter 2027 for full-time or part-time transfer student admission.
Feb 17 Deadline: Last day to apply and pay admission fee for Spring Quarter 2027 admission for new, returning and transfer full-time or part-time students seeking a degree or certificate.
Feb 26 Deadline: Last day for students to complete placement testing and schedule a New Student Orientation appointment in Yakima and Grandview.
Feb 28 Deadline: Last day to submit Winter/Spring/Summer 2027 degree/certificate applications to be included in the June commencement program.
Mar 2 Tuition due by 4:00 p.m. for Spring Quarter 2027 if registered on or before this date.
Mar 18 New Student Orientation for Spring 2027: By appointment only. Call the Admissions Office at 509.574.4712 for details.
Mar 23 – Mar 30 Spring Vacation – Limited college services available.
Mar 16 Tuition due by 4:00 p.m. for Spring Quarter 2027 if registered after March 2.
Mar 23 – Mar 29 Spring Quarter registration begins for part-time non-degree/certificate seeking students.
Mar 30 Spring Quarter 2027 classes begin.
Mar 30 – Mar 31 Students can add a class without instructor signature via ctcLink.
Mar 30 – Apr 5 100% refund period ends April 5. Drops can be completed in ctcLink or by using the Add/Drop Form.
Apr 1 Students can add a class with instructor permission email. Class adds must be completed using the Add/Drop Form.
Mar 30 – Apr 12 Students can drop a class during this period and the class does not appear on the transcript. All drops after Apr 5 must be done using the Add/Drop Form.
Apr 6 – Apr 19 50% refund period ends April 19. Drops must be completed using the Add/Drop Form.
Apr 9 Final nonpayment drop date. Any classes added after this date will not be dropped for nonpayment. Students are responsible for all charges, and nonpayment may result in tuition blocks and the possibility of being sent to collections.
Apr 12 Census Date – Last day to adjust enrollment level for Financial Aid.
Apr 13 – May 14 Students can withdraw from a class during this period and the grade appears as a “W” on the transcript. Drops must be completed using the Add/Drop Form.
Apr 17 Faculty deadline for ordering caps and gowns.
Apr 28 Incomplete grades for Winter Quarter 2027 due in Records & Registration Office.
May 11 Advising Day – No daytime classes are held on advising day. Evening classes that begin after 6:30 p.m. are held at their normal times. All Bachelor of Applied Science classes follow their regular schedule.
May 14 Deadline: Last day to withdraw from Spring Quarter. Drops must be completed using the Add/Drop Form.
May 15 Fall Quarter 2027 graduation application deadline.
May 31 Memorial Day – College Closed.
Jun 4 Last day of classes.
Jun 7 – Jun 9 Spring 2027 final exams and/or instruction.
Jun 11 Grades due in Registration & Records Office by 4:00 p.m.
Jun 11 Commencement – 6:00 p.m.
Jun 15 Grades available in ctcLink.
