About Vicente

I was born and raised in the Yakima Valley specifically from Toppenish Washington (Go Wildcats!) and I am a proud alumni of YVC. I am a first-generation college student who after completing my Associates in Arts Transfer degree, I went on to Heritage University and completed a Bachelors in Psychology and a Master’s in Education and Counseling.

I have over 21 years in the field of counseling, first as a psychotherapist with a focus on child, family and trauma services. I have spent the last 10 years here at YVC supporting students and helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Students who wish to be validated for who they are, their story and the importance of their journey should seek to work with myself and my amazing colleagues who work in the Counseling and Advising center.
