About Elise

Hello! My name is Elise LaRue, and I'm a psychology instructor here at YVC. I teach a few different classes, but I especially enjoy having the ability to talk about mental health and mental illness (as well as how media shapes our perceptions of both) as part of the curriculum. Outside of that, I'm also academically interested in how misinformation spreads online, research design, and anything else that catches my eye.

When I'm not teaching, I like to pick up new hobbies and spend time with my two cats.
